The selected Strategic Sourcing Specialist II candidate will join the Mechanical Assembly team in the Government Center of Excellence, supporting the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts for key Honeywell programs. Starting with proposals, fulfillment of the sales order, and ending with negotiating long-term agreements with suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist II will help drive the completion of compliant FAR15 packages and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with program requirements.
Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100 onsite M-F.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute FAR15 subcontracts IAW FAR, DFARS and applicable regulations.
- Support negotiations (price, terms & conditions)
- Manage key program suppliers.
- Build supplier strategies to enable the best overall value to Honeywell
COMPENSATION:
- The Salary range for this position is $647K - $95K. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance
- US Person due to contractual requirements

- DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15)
- Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle
- Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Strong negotiation skills and processes
- Supply chain experience
- Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industry
- Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.
- Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
- Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions
