StandardAero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student looking to join our Learning & Development team in Dallas, TX for the 2025 summer term.

As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.

What Youll do:

Students may be involved in one or many of the following:
 

  • Assist in designing and developing training materials such as presentations, handouts, and e-learning content.
  • Support trainers in organizing workshops, seminars, and onboarding sessions.
  • Research and gather content for learning modules on various topics like soft skills, technical skills, and company-specific knowledge.
  • Collect feedback from training sessions through surveys, assessments, and focus groups.
  • Compile and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Create reports on training outcomes, participation rates, and improvement areas.
  • Coordinate with trainers, employees, and external vendors to schedule and prepare for training sessions.
  • Handle administrative tasks like maintaining training attendance records, updating participant profiles, and organizing feedback forms.
  • Communicate with employees to gather training needs and interests.
  • Research best practices in learning and development to support innovation within the department.
     

Position Requirements (Required Skill/Experience) 

  • Enrollment in relevant College or University program (Freshman, Sophomore or Junior)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Passion for Learning & Development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, ensuring accuracy and completeness 
  • Confident with facilitating training to multiple audience
  • Ability to interact with various stakeholders
  • Proficient in research skills 
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
     
  • Internship Details:
  • The internship term will be – Summer 2025 (beginning mid-May)
  • The length of the internship is 10-12 weeks
  • Located in Dallas, TX; students must have own lodging.

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with Articulate 360: storyline, rise
  • Experience with Absorb and/or Training Manager
  • Knowledge of Instructional Design Models (ADDIE, Gagnes Nine Events of Instruction, ASSURE, Merrills Principles of Instruction, The Kemp Instructional Design)
