Suvi is looking to fill critical Information Technology based positions for our customer with the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) located in Springfield, VA.  The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: outstanding customer service, expertise/knowledge in the required field, dedication to the mission and strong work ethic.

Suvi is in search of a dedicated IT professional to join our family as the Tool/API Integrator for our TSA Enterprise Architecture Support Team.

The Tool/API Integrator is responsible for the seamless integration and interoperability of Enterprise Architecture (EA) tools, repositories, and APIs under the EASS contract. Reporting to the Program Lead and Lead Architect while directly supporting the Architecture & Data Management Branch (ADMB), this role focuses on integrating the EA Repository and metamodel with existing systems like ServiceNow and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). The integrator ensures data compatibility, develops and troubleshoots APIs, XML interfaces, data feeds, and ETL processes, and supports the provisioning and ongoing management of tools such as Ins-Pi (YouDesign). This position is essential for enabling efficient, data-driven EA capabilities that align with TSA’s mission to protect the nation’s transportation systems through robust tool integration and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate the EA Repository tool and metamodel with ServiceNow platform and Common Service Data Model (CSDM), ensuring compatibility with existing EA data.
  • Develop, customize, and troubleshoot APIs, XML interfaces, data feeds, and ETL processes for seamless data exchange and interoperability between EA tools and repositories.
  • Support the provisioning and platform/user/software management of Ins-Pi (YouDesign), including annual subscription management, unlimited read-only licenses, 12 editor licenses, advisory services, initial setup, configuration, and remote enablement.
  • Provide up to 6 months of advisory, initial setup, and configuration support for Ins-Pi, along with 3 days of consulting for repository setup/data load and 3 days of training.
  • Collaborate with ADMB and other stakeholders to address integration challenges, perform tool administration, and ensure ongoing technical support and maintenance.
  • Assist in reconciling information across different systems, recommending enhancements to facilitate progress and decision-making.
  • Support optional or emerging requirements related to tool integration via contract modifications, negotiating costs as needed.
  • Ensure all integration efforts utilize TSA-approved collaboration tools and comply with DHS/TSA policies for security and data management.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize data flows to support governance, reporting, modeling, and modernization activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in tool integration, API development, and systems interoperability, preferably in federal or enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with API development (e.g., RESTful, XML), ETL processes, data feeds, and integration platforms.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) integration.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture tools and repositories, including data modeling and metamodel customization.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher as required).
  • Excellent problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting TSA, DHS, or other federal agencies with EA tool integrations.
  • Familiarity with Ins-Pi (YouDesign) or similar EA modeling and repository tools, including setup, configuration, and training.
  • Knowledge of federal IT compliance (e.g., FITARA, OMB directives) and data standards (e.g., metadata, authoritative sources).
  • Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, API Management certifications (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee), or equivalent.
  • Background in emerging technologies like AI/ML integration or cloud-based data exchanges.
