What can you expect for your position at Airbus Helicopters? 

You will join The Digital Workplace (DWP) Collaboration Services Team in the Information Management (IM) Directorate. We are responsible for all the technologies people use to get work done in today’s workplace. DWP is divided into 3 main products: Collaboration Services, Personal Workplace and Industrial/Restricted workplace. 

Collaboration Services is taking care of applications on premise and in the cloud like email, instant messaging, web conferencing, telephony, IT equipment and services in collaborative workspaces, enterprise social media tools, file sharing applications and productivity tools like Google Workspace (GWP).

In this position, you will mainly work with the Workspace Product Manager also based at Donauworth. On this product, we are contributing to the redesign of all collaborative workspaces inside the company with the introduction of new IT concepts and equipment inside the meeting rooms, video conference rooms and event rooms. Moreover, we are selecting new event and meeting management tools to make more attractive the way we work. We also support the operations in the collaborative spaces that are currently used for more than 30000 employees.

Finally, you will also work with the Product Manager of Google Workspace in activities that reduce the MS Office dependency. 

Definition VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Support the Workspace Product Manager in BUILD, BUILD TO RUN and RUN initiatives. 

  • Help in managing the IT subcontractors helping Airbus Helicopters in the related Workspace initiatives

  • Support local Donaworth projects that aims at developing new collaborative spaces

  • Help in the evaluation and selection of all IT equipment and IT tools that could be integrated in the Workspace Catalog. This requires meetings with IT providers and evaluation campaigns with key stakeholders of the AH business. 

  • Although your main focal point is the Workspace Product manager, during the mission you will also have to support the Product Manager of Google Workspace in activities that reduce the MS Office dependency. 

  • Support on change management initiatives of collaboration services.

 

Desired skills and qualifications
  • Graduated in Information Technology or Engineering or a comparable field of study.

  • Passionate about Digitalization. 

  • IT knowledge or capacity to quickly learn IT processes will be highly appreciated.

  • Customers’ needs & expectations identification. 

  • Able to reach pragmatic and constructive solutions. 

  • Team player.

  • Open-minded, self-awareness, transparency, and welcome feedback will be highly appreciated skills.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Advanced English skills.

  • German skills would be also appreciated but not mandatory.
