Workscope Technician

The Workscope Technician is responsible for reviewing SEDAs customer units and internal units, as well as preparing detailed scopes of work for our technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-tVisually inspects all incoming units for damages
-tEnsures the repair shop has capabilities to perform the maintenance requested by the customer
-tReview Purchase Order to identify specific requirements from customer
-tPrepare Traveler form and link applicable documents into M-files
-tDeliver prepared units to specific cells on shop floor
-tCoordinate with Master Scheduler for priorities
-tAccountability for confidential and/or sensitive information that could lead to damage to the reputation and/or competitive posture of SEDA
-tTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
-tComply with all safety, health and environmental regulations as prescribed by law, companys policies and regulations requirements. Be pro-active in the Safran HSE standards and procedures within their daily work, staying alert to potential safety hazards when learning or implementing something new (skills and/or equipment)

Job Requirements:

Education / Experience:
-\tHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
-\tBasic level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
-\tKnowledge of 5S, Lean and Kaizen methods is a plus
-Knowledge of all Customer requirements as outlined in customers PO's
-Knowledge of FAA regulations and understanding of Quality requirements
-Compliance with Safety rules (PPE – Personal Prevention Equipment)
-Compliance with Cleanliness rules
-Compliance with procedures and standards – Knowledge of CMM requirements
-Customer's requirements awareness
-5S
-Lean and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)
-Autonomy
-Accuracy and rigor (meticulous), detail-oriented
-Ability to analyze, to synthesize (Ability to report effectively)
-Ability to train others
-Time management – Responsiveness
-Team work – Positive attitude

Shop floor
-\tWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
-\tThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Noise level in the work environment: Quiet office environment to manufacturing environment requiring hearing protection.
