Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:
Prepares, paints, and details aircraft with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with company quality standards and operating procedures.
Safely prepare, paint, and detail aircraft, coordinating with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and quality standards
Operate tools and equipment (e.g., sanders, hydraulic lifts, paint sprayers) and maintain them properly
Use sealants, paint strippers, and corrosion-preventive chemicals following SOPs, and wear protective equipment as needed
Comply with safety rules and address unsafe conditions promptly
Track materials, create parts demand, and sign off on work using the material tracking system
Assist with aircraft movement in hangars
Contribute to continuous improvement activities and suggest ideas
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of experience in related paint processes (aircraft industry experience preferred)
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in small, restricted areas
Ability to work any shift
Computer literate
Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator certification
