Bell Broussard Blade Shop
Bring your ideas and experience and join the Broussard Blade shop. In this position you’ll work with other team members to ensure best-in-class service to our customers. You’ll be an integral part of the team, performing work in the paint department. You’ll have an opportunity to showcase and develop your hands-on skills, while growing your technical knowledge.

What you’ll be doing as Painter

  • Prepare, mask and prime, and paint parts.
  • Clean, sand, mask and tape aircraft parts.
  • Mix, apply, and smooth cosmetic fillers.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

What you need to be successful

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-1 years of experience related to job duties required. Additional experience (2 years) may qualify selected candidate for offer at a higher level/pay grade.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles.
  • Ability to use proper PPE for zinc chromate and paint.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
  • Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, to include respirator.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
