Job Title: Painter
Job DescriptionResponsible for painting all components in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual. This includes prepping and removing damage, taping areas where paint will not be applied, and applying primer and topcoat. The role also involves maintaining records of paint room consumables, ensuring shelf life, and keeping all tooling and safety equipment in good condition.
Responsibilities
- Repair damage to all components prior to painting.
- Prep and paint all components according to the Component Maintenance Manual and customer requests.
- Maintain all tooling and safety equipment related to the paint room.
- Keep records of all consumables used in the paint room.
- Track inventory of consumables used in the paint room.
- Maintain shelf life of all required consumables in the paint room.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in an aerospace environment preferred

Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona. The work environment includes swamp coolers and fans in an indoor setting. The job requires standing, walking, using hands, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
