The MH-60R Systems Operator will work with Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) and Maintenance Contractors to perform and support training and operational/maintenance flight activities in accordance with helicopter maintenance program and plans at Jubail Navy Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Essential Responsibilities:
1) Provide instruction and oversight to RSNF pilots while operating H-60 aircraft.
2) Conduct refresher training flights consisting of: Familiarization, preflight, flight operations, and post flights. Not required to perform mission related flights.
3) Assist RSNF designated FCF Pilots with all portions of maintenance functional check flights, including preflight briefing, preflight, flight checks, post flight and all required FCF documentation.
4) Assist maintenance contractors with in-flight trouble shooting and/or verifications of maintenance discrepancies or repairs, by conducting ground and flight checks.
5) Assist in managing a U.S. Government approved flight operations program in compliance with the NAVAIRINST 3710.1 series and the following documents: COMNAVAIRFOR M-3710.7 series, NATOPS General Flight & Operating Instructions NAVAIRINST 3710.1 series, Contractors Flight & Ground Operations(SAU) A1-H60RA-NFM-000, RSNF NATOPS Flight Manual(SAU) A1-H560RA-NFM-700A, FCF Pocket Checklist Local Directives, Instructions, SOPs, and guidelines as required by using activity and for execution of tasks.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Applicant must possess an FAA Commercial Pilot or Transport Pilot Certificate and the appropriate category and class rating Minimum of 500 hours in MH-60R.Current or previous designation as instructor desired. Current or previous designation as a Rescue Swimmer desired Operational Risk Management Crew Resource Management Advanced knowledge of MH-60 operational systems and capabilities. Knowledge of COMNAVAIRINST 4790.2 series maintenance programs and maintenance practices/procedures.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typically performs all functional duties independently. Must pass an aeronautical/flight physical.
