Purpose of the position

You love data and want to learn how to apply it in fascinating projects? This internship will put you at the heart of the sales organization to discover spanet behavior, its dynamics and competitive landscape.

Tasks

You are passionate about aviation and believe mobility plays an important role in a global world? In your role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Support the Market Performance team in better use of available data and developing forecasting process.
• Perform data analysis about booking behaviour and trends.
• Act as an interface between different teams within the sales organization.
• The main focus of your internship can be tailored to your particular interests and strengths.

Requirements

We are looking forward to your application, if you fulfill the following requirements and skills:

• You are enrolled in one of the following fields of study: data science, economics, IT, business engineering, engineering, air transport or related.
• Analytical and conceptual mindset, creativity for solving problems.
• Able to take initiative, independent and structured way of working.
• Motivated, reliable and communicative personality.
• Very good spoken and written English skills.
• Very good MS Office user knowledge.
• Able to use analytics tools (e.g. Tableau).
• Able to program in Python/R.
• Familiar with forecasting models.
• Unrestricted work permit for Belgium.

• There is no compensation for internships at Brussels Airlines.
